Tonka red pressed steel sand loader toy that features a functional rubber conveyor belt designed to load sand into trucks. The loader mechanism is operated by a crank handle and includes adjustable lever. Manufactured in Mound, Minnesota, during the 1950s and 1960s. Black belt is functional with lever and in great condition. The red paint is still vibrant with very minor paint loss. One wheel is missing an outer metal piece. Lightly etched on bottom is a boys name. You have to look really close to see it. Tonka brand stamped into scoop. Measures 7" tall x 12.5" long. See pictures for details.
